I have published several short stories and I'm in the process of publishing my first novella.

I have published numerous articles and book chapters in my field of expertise, including two monographs.

I have taught Spanish as a second language at all levels, from elementary and intermediate to gateway and advances courses. I have also taught general education humanities courses on literature and its intersections with relevant contemporary issues such as: gender, peace and conflict, and environmental issues.

My dissertation focused on Latin American literature and its use of tropes of demonic pacts.

My MA thesis focused on the novel Los cortejos del diablo by Germán Espinosa, and its use of baroque strategies to convey issues of alterity.
Interests
In addition to writing, I enjoy reading contemporary literature, biographies, and I also enjoy traveling.
