As an experienced writer and educator, I have developed a diverse skillset that includes writing, editing, content strategy in education, team management, development of learning outcomes, curricular design. I also carry out academic research on Latin American literature and its intersection with Gender Studies and Peace Studies. I'm also part of the Prifmata art collective. I have published multiple scholarly articles and short stories in recognized journals and sites.
About Me
I am a higher ed professor with a passion for writing and storytelling. I have a Ph.D. in Spanish and have taught at several higher education in the US and Colombia. In addition to my teaching, I conduct research on contemporary Colombian and Latin American Literature. I am also a fiction writer. I have published short stories in several Latin American journals and sites. I am in the process of publishing my first novel Pesca en un cráter lunar and finalizing a manuscript of a second novel.
I'm originally from Barrancabermeja, Colombia, but I currently live in Minnesota, USA.
